This course is a guided, integrated production unit that brings together the learning from other modules and classes, culminating in an end-of-year exhibition and presentation of student portfolios. Students are challenged to produce high-end analogue and/or digital media prints for presentation as well as craft critical artist writings to better illustrate their project ideas to an audience. Students will focus intensely on critical artist writing concepts, sequencing, and exhibition design concepts as well as utilize their post-production knowledge as part of the conclusionary and intensive multi-week project sessions. Students will be introduced to presentation concepts involving matting, framing, book design components, gallery and museum exhibition strategies and techniques; and the role of supporting documentation.

The module is delivered in part as short weekly class discussions and concludes with a multi-week intensive involving instructors from across the program in service of the students’ final exhibition.
